On March 09, 2025 Roaring Riders a Jawa Bikers club celebrated International Women’s Day at Island Ground, Chennai. MOHAN Foundation was invited to create awareness on Organ Donation on the occasion.
Dr Hemal Kanvinde spoke about the work of MOHAN Foundation and the long relationship with this biker’s club. She highlighted the skewed gender of living donors and therefore the need to improve deceased donation rate. Mr Ganesh distributed Information brochures and green ribbons and requested the audience to plan awareness talks in their own work places.
The club honoured the following for their work:
Ms Smrithika, an ace photographer and dancer,
Ms Reena, makeup artist and
Ms Roshini, Bike riding instructor
All three guests spoke about their work and the support they received from their family.
Over 40 members participated and 3 pledged as donors.
MOHAN Foundation thanks Mr Srinivas Kashyap of the club for the opportunity.
