Republic Day Celebrations of Government School feature Organ Donation Awareness

• The Basawan Kudachi Government Kannada and Marathi Medium School invited MOHAN Foundation to give a talk on organ donation, addressing the school’s students and their parents on the occasion of 71st Republic Day celebrations on 26^th January 2020.

  MOHAN Foundation was represented by Mrs. Sheetal Mundada. The following were the topics discussed:

  • Introduction about MOHAN Foundation
  • Brain Stem Death
  • Circulatory Death
  • Jeevasarthakathe and its role
  • Organ allocation system in Karnataka
  • The burden of organ failure and need for organ donation
  • Importance of a Donor Card

  Around 280 people were present during the talk. MOHAN Foundation is thankful to the school management for the opportunity.
