Republic Day Celebrations of Government School feature Organ Donation Awareness

  • The Basawan Kudachi Government Kannada and Marathi Medium School invited MOHAN Foundation to give a talk on organ donation, addressing the school’s students and their parents on the occasion of 71st Republic Day celebrations on 26th January 2020.

    MOHAN Foundation was represented by Mrs. Sheetal Mundada. The following were the topics discussed:

    • Introduction about MOHAN Foundation
    • Brain Stem Death
    • Circulatory Death
    • Jeevasarthakathe and its role
    • Organ allocation system in Karnataka
    • The burden of organ failure and need for organ donation
    • Importance of a Donor Card

    Around 280 people were present during the talk. MOHAN Foundation is thankful to the school management for the opportunity.
