6th August, 2013 was observed as Organ Donation Day. On this day the Lions club of Hyderabad took the initiative to release the organ donation brochure. Lions Nagendra, President, Lions Club, Hyderabad and Lions Bhattacharjee, District Governor, Lion’s Club, Hyderabad did the honours.
Also, a rally was organised to mark “Hiroshima Day” at Jala Vihar, Necklace Road, Hyderabad. At this rally; the MOHAN Foundation team and the Lion’s Club members walked for the cause of Organ Donation. Also; Mrs. Lalitha Raghuram, Country Director, MOHAN Foundation addressed the gathering at the rally and spoke about the importance of organ donation.
