Following an awareness talk on organ donation, the students of Matru Sewa Sangh Institute of Social Work took part in a rally to spread awareness about the organ donation cause among the residents of Deoli Gram Panchayat. Mrs. Payal Chamatkar organized the event that took place on the 11th January 2020.
The rally began at the Gram Panchayat office, covered around 3km and returned to the Panchayat office. Around 200 people were part of the rally which was 2.5 hours long.
Information brochures were distributed and questions were answered along the way. A few questions asked by the residents:
4 people pledged their organs and received donor cards.
