On 3rd August 2016, REAL TRUST conducted an awareness programme on Organ Donation at Bharathi Nagar, Korukkupet, Chennai. Mr. Lawrence, Executive Director invited Stanley Hospital to give an awareness talk on Organ Donation for the Self Help Groups (SHG). The programme began with a welcome address by Mr. Lawrence explained the importance of event and encouraged the participants to support the noble cause.
Dr. Ambal, Dr. Arulraj Asst Professor, Mr. Senthil Kumar Transplant Coordinator from Govt. Stanley Hospital and Mr. Prakash. K Transplant Coordinator, MOHAN Foundation deputed at Stanley Hospital were the resource persons. Mr. Prakash K facilitated the event.
Dr. Arul Raj spoke about the importance organ donation and Mr. Senthil Kumar shared his experiences in counselling.

Totally 10 field staff and 60 members of the women SHG participated and supported the noble cause and all of then took donor cards.
