The eighth day of MOHAN Foundation’s awareness campaign for auto drivers was on 20th November 2018, at T Nagar.
Ms. Kaviya. P and Mr. Arun Jose (Interns from MMM College of Health Sciences) represented MOHAN Foundation. Information brochures and green ribbons were distributed among the drivers. Stickers displaying the message of organ donation and helpline number of MOHAN Foundation were put up on the autos of drivers who consented.
Most of the drivers were aware of the organ donation concepts and 15 of them supported the cause by pasting the helpline stickers on their auto rickshaws. 2 of them also registered as organ donors and received their donor cards. MOHAN Foundation thanks the auto rickshaw drivers for participating and supporting this initiative.
