On 17th August, 2013 a public education stall was put up at Lion’s Club, Gandhi Nagar, Chennai. The Lion’s Club was organizing a medical camp and they invited MOHAN Foundation, Chennai to put up a stall at which the members of the community can clarify their doubts about the issue as well as pledge their organs by signing the donor card.
Ms. Kavitha S and Ms. Sunitha A. T., Transplant Coordinators’, MOHAN Foundation, Chennai; and Mr. Augustin Joe I, Intern, MOHAN Foundation, Chennai were present at the stall. They clarified the questions raised by the visitors and guided them to pledge their organs. There were around 60 visitors to the stall and 35 members of the Club signed up for the donor card.
