MOHAN Foundation Hyderabad was invited by Mrs. J. Asha, Faculty, Dept. of Zoology of Babu Jagjivan Ram Government Degree College to arrange a public awareness presentation on Organ Donation at their campus on 13th August 2014.
Dr. Koti Reddy explained about importance of Organ donation, ways of organ transplantations, Brain Death, Transplantation of Human Organs Act, 1994, and myths associated with organ donation and about Donor Card. Ms. Shanti assisted in distribution of Donor Cards, Brochures, and Annual Reports.
We thank the principal, faculty, staff and students of Babu Jagjivan Ram Government Degree College for making this program a grand success. There were about 250 students along with 25 members of faculty that have participated in the program.
