Poster-Making Competition at Government Primary School, Rishikesh

  • On August 30, 2025, MOHAN Foundation, in collaboration with Akhil Bhartiya Marwadi Mahila Sammelan, organized the third in a series of organ donation awareness programs through poster-making competitions in schools. The event was conducted at Government Primary School, Rishikesh, at the invitation of the Principal, Mr. Shakti Prasad Badoni.

     

    The competition took place on the school’s main lawn, where 22 enthusiastic students from Class 8 participated. The top three entries were recognized with cash prizes and certificates. The activity provided a creative platform for students to showcase their thoughts on the importance of organ and tissue donation.

     

    The students, through their posters, creatively expressed the importance of organ and eye donation. Many of them explained how a single donor could save multiple lives and emphasized that donation is a gift of life.

     

    Ms. Nutan Aggrawal, President,, Akhil Bhartiya Marwadi Mahila Sammelan, addressed the participants, speaking about the significance of eye donation and how it can restore sight to those in needs.

     

    The program concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Ms. Premlata Bhatt, Vice Pricipal of the School, who expressed heartfelt appreciation to the organizers, the speakers, and all participants for their active involvement and support.

     

    The awareness initiative proved impactful, reaching approximately 30 participants and reinforcing the importance of organ and tissue donation among young minds.
