On June 14, 2025, Ms. Pallavi Kumar, Executive Director of MOHAN Foundation, was honoured with the Award of Gratitude at the Partners Thanksgiving Ceremony organized by the Rotary Club of Delhi Heights. The event was held at the India Habitat Centre, Lodhi Road, New Delhi.
The award was presented in recognition of Pallavi’s outstanding commitment, unwavering support, and dedicated service to the cause of organ donation. Representing her at the event, Dr. Muneet Kaur Sahi (Program Manager, MF NCR) and Ms. Sanya Santosh (Program Officer, MF NCR) received the award from PDRR Rtn. Nikoonz Agarwal, Club President, Rotary Club of Delhi Heights.
While receiving the award on behalf of Ms. Pallavi Kumar, Dr. Muneet spoke about the Foundation’s pioneering work in the field of organ donation and transplantation. She urged the Interactors and Rotaractors present to take up the cause of organ donation, emphasizing that they are the changemakers of today who have the potential to create meaningful impact.
Notably, MOHAN Foundation, in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Delhi Heights, had organized SAMARTHAN 2025, a fundraising initiative under the Anudaan program to support underprivileged patients in undergoing lifesaving transplants.
During a conversation with Dr. Muneet, PDRR Rtn. Nikoonz Agarwal—who hails from Dimapur, Nagaland—expressed strong interest in supporting MF’s expansion into the North-East region. He shared that nearly 200 Rotary Clubs are active across the North-East and offered to facilitate MF’s outreach in the region. He also extended his support for initiating MF’s activities in Jharkhand.
The Thanksgiving Ceremony brought together members from Interact (school-based Rotary clubs), Rotaract (college-based Rotary clubs), and Rotarians (professionals and business leaders), who shared highlights of their achievements during the Rotary year 2024–2025. The event was attended by around 50 participants.
