MOHAN Foundation Transplant Coordinators - Ms.Veena & Mr.Christopher conducted an orientation on Organ Donation for Social Work students of Loyola College. Ms.Veena explained the concepts of Organ Donation, Brain Death and Transplantation of Human Organs, Act 1994. She also shared her experience in coordination organ donation process at Government General Hospital, Chennai.
The Donor - Child Jotirmai’s story was shared with the students. The Department of Social Work has decided to collaborate with MOHAN Foundation in educating and training their students in Organ Donation & Transplantation field. 50 social work students supported the noble cause by pledging a Donor Card.
