MOHAN Foundation conducted an awareness progamme on Organ Donation for the Social Work students at the Hindu College on 9th July 2010. 32 students and two faculties attended the programme. Ms. Sujatha, Transplant Coordinator – MOHAN Foundation gave a talk on organ Donation, Concept of Brain Death & Transplantation of Human Organs, Act 1994. They were happy to have such an awareness programme for the social work students who are going to serve for the society.
All the participants including the faculty pledged for Donor Card and expressed their support for the noble cause. The head of Social Work Department thanked MOHAN Foundation for their Pioneering Work towards this Noble cause and have decided to carry this message to the whole college.
