On 22nd July 2023, workshop was conducted on Organ donation, legal aspects and Grief counseling at JJ Group of Hospitals, Mumbai. The session was conducted for Residents and doctors of the Anesthesia and Neurosurgery department.
The workshop was aimed to educate them about the importance of organ donation, Legal aspects, Stages in Grief and Do’s and Don’ts of Grief counselling. Ms. Jaya Jairam, Project Director of MOHAN Foundation conducted the two-hour session that was followed by Q&A.
Dr. Usha Badole, Professor & HOD - Anesthesia Department, Prof. Dr. Kundan Gosavi and Prof. Dr. Veena Ganeriwal attended the session alongwith other doctors from the department. Around 30 Residents attended the workshop.
