On 25th September 2017 MOHAN Foundation was invited to set an information stall at Durga Temple, Narendra Nagar, Nagpur. It was as a part of an event to improve awareness about Eye Donation and Organ Donation.
Mr. Bulu Behera explained the purpose, necessary importance, complex issues in deceased organ donation, concept of death, cultural & religious barrier, THO Act, myths related organ donation and importance of donor card.
There were about 30 visitors to the stall and 6 visitors pledged to donate organ and were issued donor cards. All visitors were given information brochures.
I thank to Mr. Sagar, Secretary of Durga Temple for this kind support in organizing this awareness program and also the committee members for their support to this noble cause.
