The National Drivers and Owners association ‘Sangharsha Vahan Chalak Malak Sanghatana’ invited MOHAN Foundation to conduct awareness stall on Organ and Tissue donation to Drivers and their vehicle owners on 4th October 2017 at N.I.T. Sanskrutik Bhavan, Nandavan, Nagpur.
Mr. Bulu Behera Transplant Coordinator, MOHAN Foundation set an information stall with banner, posters, donor cards, information brochures and green ribbons. There were 60-70 visitors to the stall and were told about the importance and need for organ and tissue donation in India. They were explained in detail about the concept of brain death & misconceptions and myths regarding Organ donation. All the visitors were given information brochures and 4 drivers picked donor cards.
