MOHAN Foundation conducted an Organ Donation Awareness talk and Career Guidance programme for the students of Rajalakshmi College of Nursing, Chennai on 25.03.2017
Ms. Kavitha S. Marketing Coordinator represented MOHAN Foundation. She concentrated on following topics:
Importance and need of organ donation
Role of nurse in Organ Donation
Importance of grief counseling
Role and Responsibilities of a transplant coordinator
Scope of a Transplant Coordinator
Transformation from Nurse to Transplant Coordinator
Nearly 100 students attended the session. About 50 students came forward to pledge their organs. At the end of the session “Priceless Gift” information brochures and Transplant Coordinator Training Programme brochures were distributed.
