An Awareness session was organized for the students of SAN Academy velachery on December 18, 2024. The session commenced with a brief introduction by the teaching faculty Ms Padma Priya about MOHAN Foundation and the speaker Mr. Ganesh C, Marketing Coordinator. Mr. Ganesh commenced the session with “Donor”, a video by Director lVijay. He then spoke about organ donation, types of donations, brain death, time factor, transplantation procedure, Myths and Facts and concluded the session with the donor story of Baby Janani. He also indicated the importance of a single YES saving multiple lives and how to use organ donation helpline number 1800 103 7100.
Over 162 young minds actively participated, interacted and were enthusiastic in learning, and said they will pledge as a donor once they are all grown up. MOHAN Foundation extends its warm gratitude towards SAN Academy & Ms Padhma Priya for the opportunity and the teaching staff in organizing the session.
