  • An organ & tissue donation awareness session was conducted on May 7, 2026, at the Regional Transport Office (RTO), Borivali, with the objective of educating participants about the importance of organ donation and encouraging them to support this life-saving cause.

The session was facilitated by Mr. Nikhil Nagarkar, who provided detailed information about organ donation, its process, and the work carried out by MOHAN Foundation in promoting organ and tissue donation awareness across the country.

Approximately 40 participants attended the session and were sensitized about key aspects such as eligibility criteria, the organ donation process, and the importance of timely consent in organ donation.

The session was highly interactive, with participants actively engaging in discussions and raising several relevant queries. Questions related to the need for family consent, how the organ donation procedure works, who can become a donor, whether there is an age limit for donation, and other related topics were addressed during the session. These discussions helped participants gain a better understanding of the legal, medical, and ethical aspects of organ donation.

The program proved to be informative and impactful in creating awareness and encouraging positive conversations around organ donation among the participants.
