As a part of the NDTV - Fortis joint campaign on organ donation, MOHAN Foundation was asked to set an information stall at Ampa Skywalk Mall on 6th August 2016 at 11 am.
MOHAN Foundation had requested two recipients to attend the event, so that they could speak about their experiences to NDTV. There were two educative games organised by Fortis Hospital that showed the process of organ donation. A flash mob dance was also organised based on organ donation by a soldier. It got a standing ovation by all the visitors at the mall.
The stall had information brochures, donor cards, donor bracelets etc. The recipients themselves manned the stall and spoke to the visitors about the change that was brought into their lives because of donation. 70 people pledged to donate their organs. Members of MOHAN Foundation, Fortis Hospital and recipients spoke to NDTV about organ donation.
