On 25nd January, 2014, Vigadan Magazine (one of the leading magazines in Tamil Nadu), Chennai invited Cadaver Transplant Programme (CTP) to display an Information Stall on Organ Donation at Hilton Matriculation Hr. Sec, School, Chrompet .
The organizer Mr. Dilip told that the Vigadan Team has been conducting different awareness programmes in every month and this month was for the cause of organ donation. They approached CTP and Mr. Prakash K. Transplant Coordinators MOHAN Foundation, Chennai manned the stall and gave information to the visitors.
The Transplant Coordinator explained the following topics to those who visited the stall:
Most of the student from Tagore Arts and Science College visited the stall, asked several questions and all the queries were answered. 192 students and community people picked donor cards and supported for the cause by pledging their organs. At the end two of them expressed their wish to conduct a similar programme in the future.
