Organ Donation awareness through Lions Club at Madhavaram

  Lions Club of Madhavaram Truck Terminal (MTT) organized a mega event on November 19, 2023 to execute “Day Long Project”, where multiple good deeds were carried out in a single day.

  As an Initiative of Lions Club MTT the following were carried out:

  • Distribution of Computer, play materials and educational items were to the Panchayat Union Primary School of Kaniyambakkam
  • Distribution of medical equipment and kit to Government PHC
  • Distribution of welfare items to sweepers and drivers
  • Distribution of food and beverages
  • Distribution of awareness pamphlets at Madhavaram traffic signal near bus terminal

   

  Mr Ln Paraneetharan J, Region Chairperson - Lions Club, and a constant supporter of MOHAN Foundation, also invited MOHAN Foundation to create awareness on organ donation on this special occasion. Mr. Ganesh C, Marketing Coordinator, set up an information desk at the gathering at venue - Madhavaram Truck Terminal Area. During the event there were over 100 foot falls and Lions Club members actively took pictures holding display cards to extend their support towards Organ Donation.

  After the distribution the Lions Club members assembled at the signal before Madhavaram Mofussil Bus Terminal where,with the support of Traffic Police, they distributed awareness pamphlets on Traffic safety. Mr Ganesh used this opportunity to and support in distributing information brochures on organ donation at the Madhavaram signal. Around 150 brochures were distributed to travellers. 

  MOHAN Foundation extends its warm gratitude to Mr Paraneetharan for this opportunity and to Dr Ln Indra Paraneetharan and Mr Ln Yuvaraj M, President - Lions Club, Madhavaram Truck Terminal for the extended support and hospitality.

I AM SEEING FOR THE PAST TWO YEARS, MOHAN FOUNDATION VOLUNTEERS ARE INSTALLING STALLS IN ALOST ALL THE LIONS CLUBS ACTIVITIES. IT IS REALLY AN EYE OPENER TO ALL THE PUBLIC. HATS OFF TO MR.
