On 28th October 2023, MOHAN Foundation conducted an awareness talk on Organ Donation for Senior citizens of Sankalp Welfare Association. The session was organized by Mr. Jitendra. Thakur Marketing Department of Apollo Hospital
Ms. Prarthana started her presentation by introducing herself and MOHAN Foundation.
Thereafter, she discussed the below topics on organ donation:
1. What is organ donation and tissue donation
2. Who can donate?
3. Living Donation and Deceased Donation
4. Types of donors
5. Types of death
6. Myths and facts about organ donation
7. Donor card and its importance.
Questions asked by the audience were as follows:
Ms. Prarthana answered all the queries promptly. Close to 10 members pledged their organs. 28 participants attended the session. We thank Sankalp Welfare Association and Mr. Jitendra. Thakur for inviting us and supporting the cause of Organ Donation.
