




On 11th January 2018 Angels of Change volunteers of MMM College of Nursing organised an organ donation awareness program at Ayyapakkam village on the outskirts of Chennai. Mr. Siva Shankar, Helpline Executive, Mr. Periyanayagam and Mr. Raja, Transplant Coordinators represented MOHAN Foundation for the evening session held in the village park.
Drawing competition was conducted for students as a part of program. 9 stsudents participated. Mrs. Sasi Mohan, Staff of MMM College of Nursing and NSS coordinator, welcomed the villagers. Angels of Change volunteers explained the concepts of organ donation. Then Mr. Periyanayagam shared his experience as Transplant Coordinator and cleared the doubts of audience. Finally prizes were given to the students.
There were nearly 40 villagers present at the awareness session and brochures were given to all of them. One person registered for organ donation.
