On 8th August, 2015 PGI marked the Organ Donation week. The event was organized by the Renal Transplant surgery, PGIMER. The event was commenced by the motivational speech of the Prof Mukut Minz who is the head of the department followed by the speech of various doctors working on Organ Donation.
After that the donor families were invited and were facilitated by the department. Some of the recipients were also present and discussed how organ donation has helped them to get back to normal life.
