On 10th January 2014, Mr. Bulu Behera & Miss. Kanchan Shewde, Transplant co-ordinators of MOHAN Foundation were invited by Dr. Keshave Walke at Wadada village NSS camp. The NSS volunteers had organised a rally on deceased organ donation in association with MOHAN Foundation to create awareness in rural people.
Dr. Keshave Walke, of Matru Sewa Sangh Institute of Social work and students moved around the entire village. During the rally information was given about organ donation through brochures, banners, placards & oral information. Various quotations and information were written on the placards in Marathi language. 80 brochures were distributed.
At the end of the rally, the transplant coordinators discussed with the people of Wadada about MOHAN Foundation activities, gave them to helpline number & program was over.
