On February 23, 2025, the MOHAN Foundation set up an organ donation information desk at a Free Health Check Camp organized by the Indian Red Cross Society, Goa State, in collaboration with Shree Mahalaxmi Saunsthan, Bandora, and the Rotary Club of Ponda New Generation.
The camp operated from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM, offering services such as blood grouping, blood testing, and ophthalmology check-ups. Mr. Gabriel played a key role in engaging visitors and initiating conversations about organ donation. Representing the Foundation, he actively interacted with attendees, distributed approximately 60 informational flyers, and addressed queries about the process and significance of organ donation. His dedicated efforts led to five individuals pledging to donate their organs—a significant step toward fostering a culture of organ donation in Goa.
Mr. Arun Harmalkar, who learned about the camp through the "Upcoming Programs" section on the MOHAN Foundation’s website, expressed interest in learning more about the ‘Anudaan’ initiative, which aims to make transplants more affordable.
The camp received support from WISDOM Super Specialty Hospital, MediLab, and ASG Eye Hospital.
