On February 8, 2025, Mr. Gabriel Pereira, an Organ Donation Ambassador from the MOHAN Foundation, set up an Organ Donation Information Desk at a Blood Donation Camp organized by St. Britto High School in collaboration with Caring Souls Goa and the Goa Medical College Blood Bank. The camp was held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
The event witnessed participation from 73 individuals, out of whom 67 were eligible to donate blood. The initiative was well-supported by students' parents and members of the public. Mr. Vian Lobo, proprietor of ARTE D’OURO Cell World and Samsung Smart Café, Porvorim, Goa, provided valuable assistance to the event.
At the information desk, Gabriel Pereira distributed approximately 80 brochures addressing frequently asked questions about organ donation. He also engaged in meaningful discussions with attendees, highlighting the importance of organ donation. His efforts resulted in 10 individuals pledging to donate their organs, marking a significant achievement in raising awareness.
