  • On September 20, 2025, MOHAN Foundation set up an Organ Donation Information Desk at a Blood Donation Camp organized by Mary Immaculate Girls’ High School and Loving Hearts Goa, in collaboration with the GMC Blood Bank, Bambolim. The desk was managed by Mr. Gabriel from MOHAN Foundation.

The camp was held in the school hall from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM. Mr. Gabriel engaged with attendees on the importance of saying "yes" to organ donation, drawing parallels with blood donation. He emphasized that while donating blood can save three to four lives, organ donation has the potential to save up to eight lives and improve the quality of life for as many as fifty more through tissue donation.

Mr. Benson Coutinho, Proprietor of the SAAMAS Group, extended support for the camp. A total of 77 individuals came forward as blood donors, out of which 50 were eligible to donate.

During the event, Mr. Gabriel screened a short animated video on organ donation created by Shweta Gupta and distributed flyers addressing frequently asked questions.

The President of Loving Hearts Goa, Mr. Mark D’Souza, along with Mr. Ranjit Rodrigues, Founding Member, and Ms. Sanyukta Gawade, Treasurer, expressed gratitude to the sponsor and acknowledged the efforts of Tr. Charlotte Pereira, the camp coordinator, and Sr. Luisa Bothelo FHIC, Headmistress of the school, for their support.

Mr. Gabriel also extended his appreciation to Loving Hearts Goa and Mary Immaculate Girls’ High School for their continued support in hosting MOHAN Foundation’s information desk at their blood donation camps.
