On August 24, 2024, Mr. Gabriel from MOHAN Foundation set up an Organ Donation Information Desk at the Blood Donation Camp organized by Mary Immaculate Girls’ High School and Caring Souls Goa, in collaboration with the GMC Blood Bank, Bambolim.
The camp was held at the school hall from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Mr. Gabriel spoke with attendees about the importance of saying "yes" to organ donation, drawing a parallel to blood donation. He emphasized that just as donating blood can save 3 to 4 lives, organ donation can save up to 8 lives and impact up to 50 more through tissue donation.
He also showed a short animated video on organ donation by Shweta Gupta and distributed flyers with frequently asked questions to everyone who attended the camp.
As a result, three people took pledge cards to commit to organ donation.
