On September 15, 2024, Mr. Gabriel Pereira, an Organ Donation Ambassador for MOHAN Foundation, set up an Organ Donation Information Desk at a blood donation camp organized by Caring Souls Goa in collaboration with the Village Panchayat Verna and Goa Medical College Blood Bank. The camp was held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the village panchayat hall, with 25 people attending, out of which 19 were eligible to donate blood.
The President of Caring Souls Goa hosts this blood donation camp annually to commemorate his birthday. During the event, Gabriel Pereira provided visitors with organ donation FAQs, distributing them to nearly 30 individuals. He also engaged the blood donors in discussions about the importance of organ donation and encouraged them to consider pledging.
