On August 25, 2024, Mr. Gabriel Pereira, an Organ Donation Ambassador for the MOHAN Foundation, set up an Organ Donation Information Desk at a blood donation camp organized by Polynova Industries Ltd. in Kundaim, Goa. The event was held in collaboration with Caring Souls Goa and the Victor Hospital Blood Bank, Margao.
The camp, which ran from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., saw participation from around 26 staff members of Polynova Industries. Of these, 21 were eligible to donate blood. While most participants were repeat donors, a few were donating for the first time.
Gabriel Pereira provided visitors with FAQs on organ donation, distributing these to nearly 30 individuals. He also engaged the donors in conversations about the significance of organ donation and the importance of making a pledge.
