On October 5th, 2023, Mr. Gabriel from MOHAN Foundation set up an organ donation information desk at the blood donation camp held in Curtorim, Goa, on the birthday of Mr. Aleixo Reginaldo Lourenco, the MLA of Curtorim Constituency. The camp was held from 9.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. at St. Alex Hall, Curtorim, Goa.
Matoshree Seva Dham and the Arogya Seva Trust (MAST) in Mumbai conducted free eye examinations at the camp. Numerous individuals benefited from the camp; approximately 285 free spectacles were given by Mr. Aleixo.
32 people volunteered to donate blood.
Mr. Gabriel distributed 250 frequently asked questions (FAQs) on organ donation to camp attendees and showed slides on organ donation and a video on brain-stem death.
