On March 28, 2024, Mr. Gabriel Pereira, Organ Donation Ambassador for the MOHAN Foundation, set up an organ donation information desk at the blood donation camp organized by Antarim Resort & Caring Souls in collaboration with the Goa Medical College Blood Bank, at Antarim Resort, Pilerne - Candolim Road, Saipem, Candolim, Goa.
The camp was held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The camp was specifically conducted for the hotel staff. Approximately 27 individuals attended the camp, of whom 20 were eligible to donate, and 7 were rejected.
Mr. Gabriel distributed approximately 30 FAQs and spoke to the staff about organ donation and the importance of coming forward to pledge. He also requested the HR and the Manager if the MOHAN Foundation could conduct an organ donation awareness talk for the staff in the near future, to which the Manager agreed, scheduling it for April 2024.
