On July 24, 2023, the MOHAN Foundation set up an organ donation information desk at a blood donation camp held in Panjim, Goa. Panaji Ambulance & Welfare Trust, along with the Indian Red Cross Society, Goa, and Rotary, organized the Camp.
Mr. Gaurish Dhond, Honorary Chairman of the Indian Red Cross Society in the State of Goa, commemorates his birthday annually with this blood donation drive. There were approximately 70 attendees who volunteered to donate blood.
Eye, Diabetes, dental, and oral examinations, as well as blood pressure tests, were administered at the camp. Numerous individuals benefited from the camp.
Mr. Gabriel from the MOHAN Foundation distributed frequently asked questions (FAQs) on organ donation to camp attendees and showed slides on organ donation and a video on brain-stem death.
14 people came forward to pledge organ donation.
