MOHAN Foundation conducted an Organ Donation Awareness talk and Carrier Guidance programme for the students of Billroth College of Nursing, Chennai on 08.04.2017
Ms. Kavitha S. Marketing Coordinator and Mr. Siva Shankar, Helpline Executive represented MOHAN Foundation. The session started with a brief note on Organ Donation by Mr. Siva Shankar who spoke on the following points.
Following this Ms. Kavitha spoke on carrier part of change of a nurse to transplant coordinator, she explained on the following topics:
Nearly 49 students attended the session. There was group discussion and also Q&A session for the students. About 40 students came forward to pledge their organs. At the end of the session “Priceless Gift” information brochures and Transplant Coordinator Training Programme brochures were distributed.
