An Organ Donation awareness stall was set at Chitanvis Park, Nagpur on 27 January 2018 at the invitation of Mr. Praveen Satware PRO, Life Line Blood Bank. This was an initiative of a Sai Baba follower.
Mr. Bulu Behera, Transplant coordinator MOHAN Foundation set the stall with information brochures, donor cards, posters and banners. All visitors were given information on types of organ and tissue donation, brain death and coma and importance of a donor card. Role of MOHAN Foundation and ZTCC were also explained. He asked all visitors to use MOHAN Foundation website and helpline number to clarify any doubts.
38 devotees of Sai Baba visited the stall and 10 of them signed the consent form & collected their donor cards.
