An online awareness talk on organ donation was organized to mark the World Heart Day on 29th September 2020 by the MOHAN Foundation Jaipur Citizen Forum (MFJCF). The talk was organized as part of the JCF webinar series HumTum on the Zoom platform.
Dr. Ajeet Bana – Cardiac Surgeon, EHCC Hospital, Mr. Rajiv Arora – President, MFJCF, Mr. Ram Rawat – a heart transplant recipient and Mr. Anil Baxi – Treasurer, MFJCF were the key speakers. Diseases related to the heart and heart transplants were the main topics addressed by Dr. Bana. Mr. Rawat spoke about his transplant experience, the healthy life he is presently living, thanks to his donor and the impact of organ donation.
The speakers appealed to the audience to come forward and support the noble cause of organ donation. Audience found the discussion very informative and gave positive feedback.
