  Sunlight Foundation, a NGO organized an online awareness talk on organ donation for its members and Mr. Bulu Behera, Transplant Coordinator of MOHAN Foundation was the speaker. Mr. Suraj G Warghane, Secretary of Sunlight Foundation had organized the event which took place on 3^rd September 2020.

  • Types of deaths
  • Organs that can be donated after Brain Death, after Natural Death and while living
  • Where is waitlist of organ failure patients available and how to register in it
  • Who can donate organs
  • MOHAN Foundation’s activities
  • Helpline number and MOHAN Foundation’s website
  • How would MOHAN Foundation get to know of someone’s death?
  • The Organ Transplantation Act 1994
  • Importance of Donor card

  It was very interactive session .The entire group of around 52 participants was motivated to support organ donation. MOHAN Foundation is thankful to the participants as well as Mr. Warghane for the opportunity.
