For the third module of the Ambassador training Maanvi’s target audience was her family members. She arranged a virtual meet for them under the guidance of MOHAN Foundation, with the assistance of Dr. Hemal Kanvinde. The meet was attended by about 23 participants from across the nation. The concepts of organ donation were explained to the group with the help of a PowerPoint presentation.
Topics including, what organ transplantation is, why is it needed, its legality in India, myths regarding organ donation and how to register as organ donors were explained. The entire presentation consisted of nearly 15 slides, and at the end of which the participants were asked to raise their queries, if any and give their feedback. Maanvi is grateful to MOHAN Foundation for the opportunity.
