On August 13th, 2019 MOHAN Foundation was invited by Dr. C. H. Ramakrishnamachariya, Dean of Sri Sairam Siddha Medical College on the occasion of Organ Donation Day to deliver an awareness talk on the subject. The programme which began around 2:30 pm had over 200 students participating.
Mr. T. S. Siva Shankar, Marketing Coordinator assisted by Ms R. Juhija, Biostatistician of the Foundation, addressed the audience. Beginning with an introduction about MOHAN Foundation, the concepts of organ and tissue donation were explained. Mr. Siva Shankar briefly spoke on following topics:
The audience participated actively and came up with lot of questions making the session a very interactive one. The program came to an end by 4:30 pm. Twenty members registered themselves as organ donors. MOHAN Foundation is thankful to Sri Sairam Siddha Medical College for the opportunity to interact with its students and spread the message.
