With the theme of ‘Life Goes On’ the Mangayarkarasi College of Education organized a talk on Organ Donation on April 7th 2017.
This was conducted by Mr. S. Venkatesh Transplant Coordinator of MOHAN Foundation and Govt. Rajaji Hospital. He explained the concept of organ donation and brain death. He elaborated on what is organ donation, how the organs are allocated, where the organs needs, Brain death, natural death and Coma, the process of organs harvesting and transplantation, and which organ can be donated in our life time and after death legally to the recipients.
The talk was very useful and informative. More than 200 students participated in the seminar and they eagerly participated in the quiz competition.
