Organ Donation Awareness at MAS Financial Services in Bangalore

  An awareness session on Organ Donation was held at MAS Financial Services Pvt. Ltd. Mr. Babu, Manager In-charge invited MOHAN Foundation to address the employees of the organization in Bangalore on 14^th July 2020. MOHAN Foundation was represented by Mrs. Ranjini Shankar M S, Mr. Marulappa L N and Ms. Hemavathi B N.

  • Jeevasarthakathe and its role
  • Organ allocation system in Karnataka
  • The burden of organ failure and need for organ donation
  • Importance of a donor card

  During the interaction, the audience raised questions about the following:

  • Consent forms
  • Green corridor
  • Criteria to be an organ donor
  • Brain stem death certification process
