C.M.Annamalai Arts & Science Women College is a group institution of Annamalai Educational and Charitable and is located at Vellathur village, Tiruvallur district of Tamilnadu. This institution focuses on providing the best education possible to the rural students in Ranipet and Tiruvallur districts.
With the support of Mr. Thiru. A. Asokan of the Annamalai Educational and Charitable Trust, an Organ Donation Session was organized for the students of C.M. Annamalai Arts & Science Women College on February 23, 2023. Dr. Senthil Rajeshwari, Principal of the college extended her support in assembling the students, distributing green ribbons & information pamphlets and ensured all the students & staff benefited from the session.
Mr Ganesh C, Marketing Coordinator, walked the audience through the concepts of Organ Donation & Transplantation ( who, what, when and how), Brain Death, support for organ failure patients, Myths & Scams on Organ Donation and the effective usage of Organ Donation Helpline 1800 103 7100. The Q&A session was short and informative. 486 Students and 41 staff participated and made the event a great success. 287 pledged to support Organ donation.
MOHAN Foundation, extends its gratitude to Mr. Thiru. A. Asokan and Dr. Senthil Rajeshwari for their support and enthusiasm in participation. Dr. Senthil Rajeshwari picked up helpline stickers to be displayed in public places and in their college buses and to promote the noble cause.
