On August 21, 2024, as a follow up to awareness at Boys School, Auxilium Centre for Rural Underprivileged Women and Youth Empowerment (ARUYWE) organized another awareness on Human Trafficking through “Street Play” for the students of Adi Dravidar Welfare Girl School, in Vysarpadi as per the request from the Head Master. MOHAN Foundation was given an opportunity to create awareness on organ donation during it.
The event commenced with Ms. Kamala delivering the welcome address. Then the street play was done emphasizing on the following:
Mr. Ganesh C, from MOHAN Foundation created awareness on organ donation, he spoke about brain death, types of donations, government schemes, how to get support from government and effective usage of organ donation Helpline 1800 103 7100. Mr. Bharath Sai, MSSW intern supported in distribution of Information brochures. 64 Students and 4 teachers participated.
