On 31 May 2018, MOHAN Foundation continued to be part of the 100th year of attainment of Samadhi by Shri. Sai Baba (1918-2018) in the 7 day program. Shri. Avinash Shegaonkar the Secretary of Shri. Saibaba Sewa Mandal, Wardha Road, Nagpur invited MOHAN Foundation to set an information stall for spreading awareness of organ donation to the devotees. The Committee prepared a special booth displaying several posters, banners, standees and information pamphlets, donor registration forms and donor cards were placed in the booth. Bulu Behera, MOHAN Foundation transplant coordinator along with Veena Wathore of ZTCC -Nagpur managed the stall.
Mr. Bulu Behera spoke on the importance of organ donation, types of death, importance of donor card and procedure for voluntary body donation and eye donation. He gave information about MOHAN Foundation activities and request to all use website and helpline number.
Approximately 30 devotees came to the stall, 6 of them signed the consent form and picked their donor cards.
