On February 14, 2025, MOHAN Foundation conducted an Organ and Tissue Donation Awareness Session for the staff of Nikita Jewellers, Ulwe, Navi Mumbai.
The session was led by Ms. Prarthana Dwivedi, who explained the importance of organ and tissue donation and how it can save lives.
She discussed the difference between cardiac death and brain death, the organs and tissues that can be donated, and addressed common myths related to organ donation. She also encouraged staff members to talk to their families about organ donation and to consider carrying a donor card.
The session was interactive, Approximately 12 members attended the session and Informative flyers were also distributed to the staff members to spread awareness.
We appreciate Nikita Jewellers for supporting this noble initiative and helping spread awareness about organ donation.
