On 2nd May 2012, MOHAN Foundation Bangalore organized an orientation programme on the topic “Organ Donation and Role of Nurses” for the final year B.Sc nursing students at JSS Nursing College, Mysore. The programme was designed to provide the right knowledge and to develop the right attitude among the budding nursing professionals, who plays an integral role in any successful organ donation programme. The Project Manager of MOHAN Foundation Bangalore, Mr.Bino James addressed the students and explained to them the various concepts related to deceased organ donation and the role of nurses.
