On 22nd Nov 2017, MOHAN Foundation conducted an awareness talk on organ donation for the BSc Nursing students of T. John College of Nursing, Bengaluru. About 97 students covering 1st,2nd,3rd and 4th year of the BSc course attended the Awareness Program which was held in a big classroom.
Mr. V. Krishnan represented MOHAN Foundation and explained the Concepts of Organ donation with a presentation included PowerPoint slides and Brain Death animation videos. The activities of MOHAN FOUNDATION were explained in detail especially the Transplant Coordinators Training Program which could well be a Career Opportunity for the students in future. This was followed by a Q&A. Brochures and Organ Donor Cards were distributed to enthusiastic students.
Nearly all students registered as donors and picked their donor card.
