MOHAN Foundation was invited by Rotary Club of Coimbatore (West) Members, on 11th April 2011. The Executive Director Mr.Pratap Gokuldas briefed about MOHAN FOUNDATION and the importance of organ donation. His talk on the topic “GIVE” impressed all the participants. Mr.Arun Gokuldas shared his experience on blood donation and the importance. The Transplant Coordinator G Mukesh screened a short film on organ donation and explained the concept of brain death, organ donation, eye donation and organ allocation. He also spoke about the importance of the Donor card, legal and ethical issues, and myths about organ donation. Valuable questions were raised by the participants and all who attended the program expressed their support by taking the pledge to carry a Donor card. Most of the participants were impressed on our activities and asked the MOHAN team to arrange more programs in future.
