One-week face-to-face Transplant Coordinators’ Training Programme, Delhi NCR

Updated on Thursday, February 10, 2022
  • MOHAN Foundation in association with Manipal Organ Sharing & Transplant (MOST) is happy to announce the one-week, face-to-face “Transplant Coordinators’ Training Programme” from March 22 to 26, 2022 at HCMCT Manipal Hospital, Dwarka, New Delhi.

The success of organ donation and transplantation depends upon good counselling and coordination by transplant coordinators. The Transplantation of Human Organs (Amendment) Act, 2011, has made Transplant Coordinator nomination mandatory before a hospital is registered as a Transplant Centre. This means there is a huge requirement of Transplant Coordinators across the country.

In order to meet the growing demand for Transplant Coordinators, MOHAN Foundation has embarked upon training programmes to suit the needs of these health care professionals. We have conducted several training programmes in the country and trained 2796 transplant coordinators between 2009 and 2021.
